Your First Visits

Consultation & Exam

When you walk in our office, you’ll be welcomed by our office manager, Sam. Once you’ve completed your paperwork, you’ll meet with Dr. Rayman for a consultation and exam. This is your chance to discuss any health concerns and goals you may have. Dr. Rayman will conduct a full chiropractic exam, testing your muscles, bone alignment, and nervous system function.

The Insight Station

Using NASA-certified Insight technology, we’ll perform scans that measure your nervous system’s function, providing us with a detailed look at your overall health and help to pinpoint challenged areas.

Report of Findings & Wellness Plan

At your follow-up visit, we’ll go over all the results and answer your key questions:

How can we help? How often should you come in? What will it cost?

Based on your unique needs, your doctor will present a personalized care plan and discuss next steps. Your plan could include chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, and nutritional strategizing meetings. Our goal is to keep you feeling your best, long-term.

Adjustments

Ready to feel the difference? After reviewing your results, to embark on your health journey, you can opt for your first spinal corrective visit. This first visit might include specific spinal adjustments or soft tissue work.

Phases of Chiropractic Care

Phase 1: Relief Care

Phase 2: Corrective Care

Phase 3: Wellness Care

Many people visit a chiropractor because they’re in pain, so the first goal of care is to reduce those symptoms. This may mean frequent visits, sometimes two to three times a week, to start.

It’s a common misconception that no pain means good health. But pain is often the body’s last warning sign, appearing only after a problem has developed over time. Think of a tooth cavity: it doesn’t hurt at first, only when it’s more advanced. The same goes for issues like heart disease, diabetes, or spinal problems. With chiropractic care, pain is often the first symptom to ease, even though the root cause may still need attention.

Reducing symptoms is often the easiest step in chiropractic care. However, stopping there can lead to a higher chance of symptoms returning. Continuing care, even when pain has subsided, is key to lasting relief.

In the correction phase, you’ll need adjustments less frequently, and you may start incorporating exercises and stretches to support your recovery. Occasional flare-ups can happen as your body heals, and these are completely normal. Depending on your condition and how long it’s been present, this phase can take several months to a few years for full healing.

Once your body has healed, regular chiropractic care helps keep issues from returning and maintains peak wellness. Just as with exercise and healthy eating, ongoing chiropractic care supports a healthy nervous system.

Making chiropractic care part of your routine can keep your joints strong and allow you to enjoy more of the activities you love.
