Headaches

Tired of headaches running your day?

You don’t have to live on painkillers or push through. Whether you're dealing with tension headaches, migraines, or something in between—chiropractic care can help.

A patient lays face down on the table, Dr. Rayman's hands are on the patient's back.
What's Causing Your Headaches?

Your head may hurt due to muscular tension, nerve compression, poor posture, jaw clenching, dehydration, screen time strain, or spinal misalignments. For some, it's a combo of these factors — that’s why personalized care matters.

Some common causes we see:

  • Poor posture

  • Stress or muscle tension

  • Misaligned cervical vertebrae

  • TMJ dysfunction

  • Dehydration

  • Hormonal changes

  • Trauma (e.g. whiplash or concussion)

Why Chiropractic Care for Headaches?

Many headaches are caused by tension, misalignments in the cervical spine (neck), or nerve irritation — all of which chiropractic care directly addresses. Rather than masking the pain with medication, chiropractic focuses on realigning the spine and restoring proper nerve function, often relieving both tension and frequency of headaches. Studies have shown that chiropractic adjustments can be as effective as medication for tension-type and cervicogenic headaches.
